According to the New Mexico Department of Labor, employment in professional and business services is projected to increase from 98,710 to 125,590 jobs or 27.2 percent during the 2002 to 2012 period.
Administrative support positions are projected to experience the fastest growth within the professional and business services industry growing by 49.4% and adding 20,650 jobs. Management of companies and services jobs is projected to grow by 34.5 percent or 1,880 jobs. Professional, scientific and technical services are projected to add 3,880 jobs or grow 7.7 percent.
